Super excited to be sharing this amazing styled shoot with you. Keeping in mind how things have changed post-pandemic this is a minimalist, yet exquisitely curated south Asian bridal shoot. We have tried to showcase some South Asian prewedding events leading up to the bridal ceremony. It starts off with the Sangeet which is a celebration of song and dance, to henna night and finally finishes with the wedding ceremony.
For the Sangeet portion a “Masala Chai” cart was included with a high tea feel with vintage, luxury china. Thus elevating the traditional parts of the event. Her outfit is light and airy to dance the night away in, with a side cape for added glamour.
The henna event is where the bride is often adorned in flowers. This discerning south asian bride forgoes traditional floral wristbands for a more boho vibe with a headband.
The bride pays ode to tradition through a classic lehegha for the ceremony but in lieu of traditional red, she keeps a consistent color story for all her events. Breaking tradition the ceremony ends with celebratory champagne in an old Hollywood styled bar cart with vintage stemware and accessories.
